BeMobile Verizon is giving 5 ambitious people a $1,000 grant to grow their business and make a local impact.
What better time than now to invest in the communities we call home? Whether you’ve always dreamed of starting your own business or are looking to grow something you’ve already built, BeMobile wants to hear your story. This year, our focus is on supporting ideas that are rooted in community—businesses that make a difference locally and bring people together. From April 1st until April 30th, BeMobile Verizon will be accepting applications for five $1,000 Rooted in Community grants.
Who Can Apply:
- Individuals rooted in community!
- Aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start a new small business or existing small business owners aiming to expand.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to operate a business.

- Businesses and individuals rooted in community!
- Innovative business ideas with potential for growth and sustainability.
- Demonstrated passion, dedication, and commitment to your business venture.
- A solid plan outlining how the grant funds will be utilized to achieve tangible business goals.
How the Grant Can Be Used:

- Act on a business idea that you’ve had.
- Expand something in your small business that you haven’t been able to fund.
Selection Criteria:
- Clarity and feasibility of the business plan.
- Potential for growth and impact on the community or industry.
- Demonstrated need for financial support and how the grant will be utilized effectively.
When asked why they wanted to supply a grant for aspiring business owners and those ready to scale up their operations Jason Prinsen, Director of Sales and Marketing at BeMobile said, “We are passionate about helping small and medium-sized businesses grow.
